The best times for the Everest Base Camp Trek are during the pre-monsoon (March to May) and post-monsoon (September to November) seasons. These periods offer clear skies, stable weather, and the best mountain views. Spring brings blooming rhododendrons, while autumn provides crystal-clear visibility.
While previous trekking experience is helpful, it's not mandatory. However, you should be in good physical condition and prepare with regular cardiovascular exercise for 2-3 months before the trek. The trek requires walking 5-7 hours daily at high altitude.
Altitude sickness is a concern on this trek. Our itinerary includes proper acclimatization days to help your body adjust. It's important to ascend gradually, stay hydrated (3-4 liters/day), and inform your guide immediately if you experience symptoms like headache, nausea, or dizziness.
